An annual Portland experience, the Rose City Yarn Crawl is a four-day event for knitters to explore the many knitting Shops in and around Portland. 2012 marks our third year of celebrating Portland as a yarn and knitting destination.

Join us from 10 am to 6 pm on March 1st – 4th for your chance to win one of 20 Prize Baskets and explore all nineteen participating Shops. In addition to offering the chance to win a prize basket, each shop will also offer Rose City Yarn Crawl participants a special free pattern inspired by the City of Roses.

In this class we learn how to take proper measurements, discuss pattern terminology and what the information on and in the pattern envelope means, such as measurements and sizing, fabric suggestions and requirements, notions, fabric layout and a review of pattern markings and directions.
