This class is designed for beading beginners. You’ll learn stringing, finishing, and design techniques for completing necklaces and bracelets. There will be discussion about stringing, Softflex* finishing, and clasp choice. Students will complete and take home one bracelet or necklace in class!

Dressy, flirty, or fun you choose! Make one for every look with this picot based design. This bracelet is sweet and suitable for all bead artists, even if you are just getting started!

Learn to weave 24 or 26 gauge wire around a dowel to create a woven wire piece for uses in bracelets, necklaces, and whatever your creative mind can think of. Nice end caps will give your finished piece a beautiful professional look.

You will want to make many of these brilliant, three- dimensional beads! You can use them alone as simply stunning pendants on chain or group them on a dazzling bracelet. You may have millions of other ideas for these beads, so you must join Fran and learn to make your own puzzle beads!

If you’ve been afraid to try wire work before, or if you’ve tried and things just don’t look quite right, this is the class for you. You will learn the basic tools and techniques required for quality wire work.

* Special Note: * If you have some beading tools already, please bring them. It is always best to learn on what you will be using at home! You may also want to bring reading glasses.

Gwen Fuller loves making wire-based jewelry and is teaching some great techniques here, at BDC. It feels great to take a piece of wire and create your own findings, as well as jewelry! It’s also nice to know how to create strong components that don’t require any soldering! These basic pieces will give you the perfect base to expand on your handmade jewelry.

This class will teach the bracelet and this pattern can also be used to make a necklace or earrings in the future! It uses an easy two-needle method to set up the base for the flowers and connecting vines. Creating the leaves and flower tops on the top row is like bead embroidery.
