Starting April 1, 2010 and continuing each afternoon throughout April, passers-by on 42nd and Hawthorne Blvd. will be treated to live art-making by 30 different artists for the fundraiser An Artist a Day. Now in its second year, the live art event is hosted by Muse Art and Design and showcases artists creating works of art live in the Muse storefront window, and raises funds for art supplies in Portland Public Schools. As each piece of art is completed, the works are displayed and auctioned through silent bid at Muse to benefit Schoolhouse Supplies.
