Join us for a very hands on detail oriented class, Metal Jewelry Art, that is scheduled for June 22/23, a Saturday and Sunday, from 10 to 4 each day. Students will be taught how to work with metals by sawing, sanding, filing, stamping, hammering(forming/texturing). etching, riveting, and soldering. You will create a bezel and set your stone in the bezel.

Landscape of Dreams: Paint dreamy landscapes with palette knives and acrylics.

Using acrylic paint and painting knives, you'll create gorgeous landscapes from photos and/or from your imagination. The perfect way to start sewing -- or to get back into it! Learn techniques for sewing French Seams, Elastic smocking, lace appliqué, sewing with the bobbin thread, using the feed dogs to ease as well as gathering and ruffling feet. In a French seam, the raw edges of the fabric are fully enclosed for a neat finish. Machine smocking is a technique used to gather fabric so that it can stretch. Appliqué involves pieces of fabric, embroidery, or other materials which are sewn onto another piece of fabric to create designs, patterns or pictures. Learn all this and so much more!
