Our experienced teaching staff will work alongside children while using innovative recycled materials & various art media to show kids how to up-cycle old books into personalized stories, journals & beautifully creative keepsakes.

All materials and supplies are included in cost. This is a drop-off child care & children's art studio combined. Snacks are permitted, please keep in mind we are a NUT-FREE center. Remember to dress to mess in art appropriate clothing!

The Art Studio invites children 3 years old and up to explore the world of creative artistic expression in our open art studio. Our experienced teaching staff will work alongside children while using innovative recycled materials & various art media to show kids how to up-cycle old books into personalized stories, journals & beautifully creative keepsakes.

Create wire-wrapped rings using a mandrel and easy wire wrapping techniques to nest a single bead in the bezel of the ring. You'll leave this class with a handful of rings - as many as you can create in 2 & 1/2 hours. Materials will be provided but if you have beads or stones you'd like to make into a ring, bring them to class.

Beginners are welcome.

$40 - Includes beads, tools, supplies (and wine and appetizers!).

If you've come to my classes before, this workshop will help you brush up on your skills and expand your wire working techniques. When school’s out, SCRAP’s in! Kids in 1st-6th grade are invited to come enjoy creative reuse activities for half a day, or bring a sack lunch and stay all day! Each session is divided into three parts: An adult-led creative reuse project, a group activity or game, and time for a self-selected project.
9:30 to 12:15 AM session: Painting with things you usually shouldn't!
12:40 - 3:30 PM Session: Diorama-rama!
