On November 14th (a week early this month because of Thanksgiving), we'll be holding our next Knit & Crochet night, here at the store.

Bring your patterns, projects, ideas, questions, and meet some other crafty peeps in the neighborhood!

Swing on by after work and we’ll make a night of it. We’ll be here knitting from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and will have tea, wine, music, good company, and some little snackies to keep us going!

And don't forget -- any purchase made at our Knit & Crochet Nights will garner you 20 extra points on your Supportland card!

Grout Elementary School’s Annual Holiday Bazaar & Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, December 1, 2012
8:00am until 3:00pm
Pancake Breakfast is 8am to 10am. Bazaar is from 9am to 3pm. Lunch is from 11am to 3pm.
Gift yourself or your loved ones with Handmade items from local Artists, Teachers, and Students.
We’ll also feature a Raffle, Carolers, Face painting, Make and Take Craft Table, A Professional Photographer, Bake Sale Goodies and Wreaths for your door!
Proceeds from our Pancake Breakfast and Bazaar benefit our 5th Grader’s annual Science enrichment camp at Camp Kiwanilong.

Holey Felt Scarf

Learn traditional feltmaking techniques to create a holey felt scarf—without using scissors. You will use just dyed wool roving, hot soapy water and the agitation of your hands to make a one-of-a-kind piece. After taking this workshop you will be armed with the skills to make many more on your own.

This workshop is held at the well-equipped PenFelt Studio in the Sunnyside neighborhood of SE Portland.

Open Alpaca Barn & Sale

Take a break from the Thanksgiving Winery Tours to meet the alpacas and their new babies up close and handle their luxurious fleece.
The Barn Store will be stocked with teddy bears, sweaters, scarves, & other alpaca products, many hand-crafted.
Hand-spinners, knitters, & other fiber artists will find fleece and yarn. Many of the yarns are in one of the alpacas’ natural colors, spun from the fleece of a single animal. Bring your camera and get a shot of the alpaca who provided the raw material for your next project.

National Alpaca Farm Days

Festive Pom Pom Garland
