Art Camp: Altered Objects

Mon, 08/23/2010 - 1:00pm - Fri, 08/27/2010 - 4:00pm We’ll take common items like books, toys, clothes, and more and transform them into unique works of art. Learn how any object can become something new when you look at it as a potential piece of art. Classes are from 1-4:00pm August 23-27. Class is open to ages 7 and up. Class size is 3-8 students. Sign up online via PayPal, by mail, on the phone, or in person! For students registering for both this class and the Puppet Friends class in the morning, there will be a supervised lunch break and play time at nearby Esther Short Park. Class instructor Sam MacKenzie has worked with kids of all ages for over 12 years. She teaches photography, fibers, ceramics, and mixed media classes at Art Adventures at Oregon College of Art and Craft. She is a Sixth Street Gallery artist and substitutes for the Vancouver School District. Location:
