We’ll make all sorts of puppet friends this week using cloth, paper, paint, thread, and more! As well as making puppets, we’ll write stories for them, create a stage, and act out our stories. With puppets, the fun will last long after camp is over.

Classes are from 9-12:00pm August 23-27. Class is open to ages 7 and up. Class size is 3-8 students. Sign up online via PayPal, by mail, on the phone, or in person!

For students registering for both this class and the Altered Objects class in the afternoon, there will be a supervised lunch break and play time at nearby Esther Short Park.

Class instructor Sam MacKenzie has worked with kids of all ages for over 12 years. She teaches photography, fibers, ceramics, and mixed media classes at Art Adventures at Oregon College of Art and Craft. She is a Sixth Street Gallery artist and substitutes for the Vancouver School District.
