Cold Process Soap Making

Date:
Sun, 12/04/2011 - 1:00pm - 3:00pm

This is an excellent hands-on class for beginning and intermediate soap makers, focusing on cold-process recipes featuring beeswax, clays and natural fragrances.

All materials are supplied--you bring protective eyewear, an apron (or wear old clothes), and a towel to insulate your very own soap mold (supplied) containing the equivalent of 4 round bars of soap.

In addition to experiencing first-hand soapmaking techniques and safety, you'll come away with some excellent, easy-to-follow recipes, a list of resources and suppliers, and--best of all--the confidence and enthusiasm to make your own soap at home. This is a great class to take if you plan to make some of your own holiday gifts!

John and Diana, from Harmony Soapworks in Oysterville, Washington are the creators of our wildly popular Beekeeper's Soap. They're a fantastic teaching team, too!
