Hosted by Mudshark Studios, twenty-one artists who work primarily in clay will exhibit work that ranges from life-sized figures for the garden to everyday bowls for the kitchen. Select from colorful, playful tableware, deeply soulful work made with indigenous materials, slip cast forms from life, traditional tea ware, body pots, old-skool growlers, tall geometric fountains and big 3-d puzzles, with more art in other media. Join us Friday evenings for acoustic music and Rogue beer: we’re a gregarious group!

Mudshark Studios is a small slip-cast company getting bigger, and has now moved into a sweet old building just north of 20th and Sandy. To celebrate the holidays, they’ve invited studio potters, educators, and other professional ceramicists to share their work in the space. The list includes Chris Baskin, Brett Binford, Richard Brandt, Danny Crump, Jake Decero, Paul Hoagland, Josh Kovarik, Jonathan Langston, John Larson, Kristy Lombard, Katy McFadden, Brad Mildrexler, Brad McLemore, Nik Mills, Portland Growler Company, Craig Ritchie, Jason Lee Starin, Mandy Stigant, Careen Stoll, Nick Veitor, and Zach Wollert. Some of them are OPA members, many have their own websites and studios.
