Learn to sew!
Leader: Amanda Myers
Fundamentals of garment construction and machine sewing.
In this class we will learn the basics of making a garment from start to finish. For years I have heard my friends lament that they never learned to sew, or others who could wing it but never learned the real deal. We will be working with fabric, patterns and oh yes, the sewing machine to send you home with your custom pattern ,a simple top or skirt, and the skills to re-create it and the confidence and excitement to keep sewing. I will teach you the essential rules you need to know for a stress free experience , including choosing the right project for your skill level.. Beginners and those with some experience are welcome. This class could grow into an on going clinic if enough are interested.
