Crayon Encaustic
Create your own encaustic masterpiece!
What a great use of old broken crayons that no one wants to use!
Encaustic painting is a specific type of painting utilizing hot wax, often beeswax.
Pigments are added and then the wax is applied to a surface.
Metal tools and special brushes can be used before the wax cools,
or heated metal tools can be used to manipulate the wax that has cooled.
Encaustics can also be sculpted and/or utilized in collage, as well as painted.
Come in and learn about this method dating as far back to ancient Egypt.

Visual Journaling with Soul Collage
Class or Workshop | Collage | Studio | WorkshopHeld on Fridays from 10:30 - 1:30 $150 3 week series. Dates to be arranged once we have 6 people.
Within all of us lives a silent language that speaks the truth about our lives far more profoundly than words. That language is imagery. Bypassing the analyzing mind's need for words and explanations, imagery allows truth to come forth, as the Soul reveals itself in Technicolor. The alphabet of imagery is color, shape, line, form and texture.
This workshop will help you learn the language of imagery along with the help of your SoulCollage cards. We will meet every 2 weeks for a feast of techniques, helping you develop confidence and fluency in the language of Soul. You will learn how to delight in the playground of the Soul in the physical realm of the 5 senses, emotions and yes even thoughts!
No special art skills of any kind are required in this playful safe environment. For those interested in the Life Story project on piano rolls, sign up for this workshop. We will begin once we've a group of 6 people. Email to register suzie@suziewolfer.com 503-762-7612
