Based on the “Fluffy Beads” pattern designed by Laura Shea and published in the Dec 2011 Bead & Button magazine. I’ve modified it using less expensive basic supplies & then weird embellishments to add to the mysterious vibe of the piece. The pattern can be difficult to follow from the magazine, so we’ll walk through it together with suggestions I have added to make it different. This piece uses Right Angle Weave stitch and embellishment. Some beading experience is helpful, but this class is OK for beginners.

Gwen Fuller loves making wire-based jewelry and is teaching some great techniques here. It feels great to take a piece of wire and create your own findings, as well as jewelry! It’s also nice to know how to create strong components that don’t require any soldering! These basic pieces will give you the perfect base to expand on your handmade jewelry.

This crystal cuff can be made using vibrant colors, or in stunning clear & white to resemble a diamond masterpiece. A lovely way to learn netting & embellishing stitches. All supplies are provided for completing one bracelet in class!

If you already own tools or want to use your own beads, please bring them in!

Vibrant circles, triangles, squares, rectangles and pentagons frame brightly colored crystals that meander across the wrist. A new twist on two basic stitches. Peyote and herringbone experience recommended. Can also be adapted to make rings, earrings or a necklace.

Learn how to make a woven wire piece for use in bracelets, necklaces, and whatever your creative mind can think of! Gwen will patiently teach you the weave technique using a dowel and small gauge wire. Nice end caps, findings and beads can be added to give your finished piece a beautiful professional look.
