All participants will be acknowledged. Our projected finished date for the whole project is August 23rd when the seascape will be displayed at the store. Sock Crocheting -- Part II
Class or Workshop | Craft Store | Fiber | Knitting | Learn Something | Meet CraftersThere is nothing like a pair of hand-made socks. But wait - you don't knit!!!! Crocheters want to make socks too! Why should we be left out of the fun?
This class will be taught in two parts--the first explaining the basic technique and components of sock-making. We'll start at the cuff of the sock and together we'll start to crochet a decorative design in a continuous round. Then you'll have two weeks to crochet at your own pace until you make it to the heel. In the second class you'll learn how to turn the heel - a little differently than in knitting - and in less time than your knitty friends, you'll also be holding something that looks like a sock! Crocheters like warm feet too!
